چکیده

Periodontal disease is a pathological inflammatory condition of the periodontal tissues surrounding teeth, including Human Gingival Fibroblasts (HGF) which one major components tissue formation in periodonsium. HGF regeneration with accelerating proliferation engineering therapy needs. Generally, using regenerative materials from cow or pig as therapies, but these have some flaws so this research to find alternative scaffold collagen type 1 derived fresh water fish scales, are gourami scales. This was conducted test viability scales gouramy against for 24 hours. study aimed determine concentration scale can maintain human gingival fibroblast cells taken healthy gingiva and planted 96 well plates. Fish 0.32 mg/ml, 0.16 0.04 0.02 mg/ml 0.01 were added each incubated during MTT Assay performed see cells. The increased after addition on until mg/ml. highest shown has potential engeneering shows HGF.

In vitro Comparison of Viability of Human Gingival Fibroblast Cells on Collagen Barriers

Background and purpose: Human gingival fibroblasts cultured on collagen membrane is an alternative treatment method in guided regeneration. This in vitro study aimed at evaluating and comparing the human gingival fibroblasts viability on two types of collagen-rich membranes. Materials and methods: Human gingival fibroblast cells (HGF1-RT1) were cultured on two types of collagen-rich membranes...

Protective Effects of Simvastatin on Cytotoxicity and Oxidative Stress in Human Gingival Fibroblasts Cells Exposed to Venlafaxine

Background and purpose: Venlafaxine is an antidepressant that belongs to the family of selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRIs) drugs. Recent studies have indicated that prolonged use of antidepressants leads to a state where increased formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) overwhelms body antioxidant protection and subsequently induces DNA damage, lipid peroxidatio...

The Effects of Low Level Laser Therapy on the Expression of Collagen Type I Gene and Proliferation of Human Gingival Fibroblasts (Hgf3-Pi 53): in vitro Study

Background  Recent investigations show that both proliferation and secretion of macromolecules by cells can be regulated by low level laser therapy (LLLT). The aim of this study was to determine whether LLLT could induce a bio-stimulatory effects on human gingival fibroblasts (HGF3-PI 53). Therefore, the effect of laser irradiation on human gingival cell proliferation and collagen type I gene ...

drugs on oral mucosa cells. A previous study showed that 5 μM of zoledronic acid (ZA), a nitrogen-containing bisphosphonate, is the highest concentration of this drug found in the oral cavity of patients under treatment. Therefore, in order to simulate an osteonecrosis clinical condition, the aim of this study was to evaluate the highest concentration of ZA applied on human epithelial cells (Ha...
